holds up well and very comfortable

... exactly as it shows in the picture and the best.. We got this to go with a tri-fold frame [that doesnt work as well as expected] but the mattress is really comfortable. I allowed it to sit out and settle flipping it couple of times a day for almost a week but Im just cautious that way. We have had this thing for a while now and no sign of lumping or bumps. We flip it once a week but thats pretty standard for mattress care. I think people who have had issues with this thing just didnt read up on letting it settle before using it. The thing has been compressed so you really need to let gravity do its work before tossing something like this on your bet and sleeping on it. All this time later now and its still in great shape.

Great futon, excellent comfort

Look Great Reasonably Priced We originally bought this same brand and model futon for our queen-size guest bed at a local store several years ago, and everyone who stays with us for a night or a week just loves it and raves about how comfortable our guest bed is. So when it came time to replace our CA king mattress and box springs, we decided to get this futon instead of another mattress set. The local store no longer carries this brand and they dont have any king-size futons in stock, so we were delighted to find the exact one we wanted on and are very happy we ordered it. The shipping was fast, but they did not provide any tracking info so we did not know when it would get here, and we didnt know you have to sign for it, so the delivery driver left a pickup notice instead, and we had to go pick it up. Luckily the box was not too heavy and was fairly small, it fit in our wagon, so it all worked out in the end. But we would have appreciated tracking info and knowing we needed to be here to sign and receive it. Otherwise we are entirely happy with this purchase. This futon is a very comfortable bed, lightweight and easy to make and move, but really soft as well as supportive.

good alternative

Beautiful product, excellent customer service Ive been frustrated for years by expensive mattresses that give out in a couple years, or which hurt my back a few months down the road. This is relatively inexpensive, and the 10 year warranty reassures me. Nevertheless I was frustrated by the Moonshadow til I learned 2 things about it: the first is I must flip and shake it out every week. Kind of like rotating your tires. This is what my grandmother and mother did with all mattresses in the house, but I dont think people do it nowadays. Perhaps if you weigh 100 pounds you could flip it every couple months, but if you are over 150 as I am, you will make a nice dent in the mattress. However, it does shake out and immediately becomes comfortable again. It is lightweight enough to pick up and flip with a bit of effort but has no handles. The second thing is, it matters what the Moonshadow is placed on. A hard, even level surface seems best. I had it on a metal wire platform bed frame made to be used without a box spring. I think it was sagging, giving me a bad backache, so I put the Moonshadow on the floor, on a rug, and my backache went away in 4 days. Perhaps it would be good on a tatami mat. I was disappointed with the Moonshadow because I was getting a backache after using it a few months. I bought a few mattress toppers, one which was close to the price of the Moonshadow. Turns out the Moonshadow was fine and I dont need the toppers, just had to flip it and get it on the right surface. This is a good, well-made, lightweight mattress and I recommend it. It has kept its edge shape very well. I also love the name. I subtracted a star because it has no handles. Makes it harder to flip it. I would have subtracted just 1/2 star if I could.

Great Mattress

This purchase says, I know what Im doing. I recently purchased this mattress a few days ago and so far its great. I use it on a tri-fold lounger style queen size futon and its very comfortable to sit back from the TV/PC with wireless keyboard and mouse and do work. I also use it everyday for sleep. I also purchased a set of Grip Strips to use on my frame as Im sure this bed would like to slide off the frame if I tried readjusting the recliner position.

mattress is great.

Ok. Good price. mattress is great. Soft enough to watch tv on and firm enough to sleep on. Arrived on time and in a surprisingly small box. The mattress was compressed for shipping but gained full shape in a few hours.

Great for the price

Highly recommended. Exactly what we wanted. For the price this is great, its firms up after about 24 hours of being removed from the vacuum sealed plastic. Love that its modular and can easily be moved/sored if needed. I got the queen size and its used in my office as spare bed for guests and a place to chill when in couch mode. Only gripe is its a bit low to the ground but I knew that going in.

Its worth the cash I really wanted this product but lost my order. customer service reached out to me and they are sending another one. This is a good company. I will update this review when I actually get the couch.

Seems great so far! Bought as an extra sleeping option at our cottage. It is super comfy, and very sturdy. It makes a great chair too, and then opens up to a bed.

What I wanted but over priced

Ive wanted something like this for awhile if I have guests come over. I dont like futons and air mattresses are awful for everyone. So I decided to buy this mattress. Its decent quality considering its made from China. But the price of about $230 does not coincide with the material used. I gave 3 stars due to the price and time it took to ship to me. (Nearly 2 weeks). Sucks to assemble
