Took me about 45 minutes to assemble. The only help I had was two sets of curios, four legged eyes. Instructions were basic. Everything was labeled. Hardware kit included the necessary Allen wrench. I have an extensive mechanical background, assembly was easy. Novices may take a little longer, but they will figure it out quickly.
Frame is sturdy. I would recommend after a few weeks of use, to check, and retighten fasteners. Slots provided on one end to mount a headboard. So far i am satisfied with what I got and what I paid for it.
