Better than I expected! My husband and I bought this for our daughter/granddaughter. Had it assembled in less than 2 hours including opening 2 new memory foam mattresses and placing on slats to await full decompression. Bought it for guest room and wanted the versatility and underbed storage that this bed provided. Only complaint it that the directions are a bit confusing with only pictures and no written instructions; however, this does not take away from the quality of the bed. Overall, glad we chose this one!
