Very sturdy, little annoying to put together but all furniture kind of is . The directions werent all that great but I would definitely recommend for the price. We got two and love them! Really completed the bedroom. I lined mine with extra scrap book paper I had laying around to preserve it. I also purchased a clear liner for the top it just hasnt arrived yet
