Heavy is good, very sturdy. It wasn't too bad to put together, needed some help in the middle. The only thing I noticed is that once you put the wooden dowels in the inside of the drawer ( they help the drawer not fall out if you open too far) that if we were to ever move, those drawers are staying in.
