This came fully assembled and VERY well packaged against damage. The drawer glides smoothly and the hinge cabinet being the false drawers has heavy hinges- good for my cat who likes to get into things. We bought two and I'm so glad we did. The only thing I might have changed is adding a shelf in the open section but that's personal preference.
