What a great quality piece of furniture this is!
I am not easily impressed by wood furniture - most of what we have is really nice local hand built reproductions.
It is also as nice as a Harden table we have - maybe nicer
The small scale of this piece is just right for placing behind our loveseat nicely designed. Much furniture today is waaay oversized - this is not.
I would pay over $1,000 for this and not blink if I saw it in a local high end furniture store.
Quality beautiful hardwood that more closely resembles mahogony than oak - tight grain
Dark brown stain with cherry tones nice nice nice
Finish is just beautiful - it is not high gloss, appears to be hand rubbed as stated
Drawer pulls look much better than I expected - I will be keeping them
Drawers slide nice and smooth, and interior finish is very nice - same stain as exterior
Console is solid, good substantial weight the cats will not be tipping it over when they jump on it any time soon
Assembly was straightforward. My daughter and I put it together in less than 30 minutes
