It not real velvet. The feel is but not the material.
Its to expensive. I thought it was really velvet. My cat is scratching it and already made some few marks. Because its blue you cant really see it. I honestly thought it was real material. I had couches that were velvet and they never try to scratch them. Compare to my bed I have to watch them. ??. I still love the color of my bed. But I think its to over price. If I knew my cats could scratch and break I wouldve gotten something cheaper.
