I spent alot of time researching and shopping around for upholstered beds. I initially was going to get the gray one but the blue caught my eye. Its a beautiful color, almost a cross between navy and royal blue. I was intially quite upset, because only the sideboards and footboards were delivered. After several unhelpful customer service reps I was transferred to Nathalia in the bulk/heavy item department. She promised me shed get to the bottom of it and after a few hours, she tracked down the 2nd box with her headboard and slats. The second box was delivered by later in the day. I put the bed together by myself and only got a little tripped up by the chrome legs, as I wasnt sure which way to screw them in (instructions have photos only). I carefully went through one step at a time and got it completely assembled in about 3.5 hours. I am sure a person who is handy or has a second set of hands could get it together much faster. Personally, I didnt use the slats and kept the metal bedframe I already had, and just built the bed around it. Its absolutely gorgeous and Im incredibly happy with my purchase.
