Once I got it assembled this bed is solid, I rarely if ever hear a creak out of it. Assembly is a chore. The instructions are step by step, mostly straightforward, but at times it takes close examination of the drawings to determine the orientation of the pieces. I used glue to make the MANY wooden pegs secure. Though not called for in the booklet this was basically a necessity as the holes were often (but not always) a bit too big for the pegs to stay in by friction alone. It came in three or four large boxes and took over the whole bedroom while I was assembling it. Be ready to take a few days to get the thing together. If needed it can be broken down into four large sections and moved, it doesnt strike me as a good choice for someone who changes houses every few years. Im happy.
All Assembly Required.
