I got the bed in the Full size, glad I didn't opt for the Queen. Fits perfect in my apt., I got the Pine, just gorgeous! The mattress if your interested is a Full from Value City furniture, the Dream mattress, its a firm so I really don't need a box spring at all. You can use one I'm sure and that would be a pretty high bed because mine is a pretty nice height from the floor with just my top mattress so it is not a low to the ground frame, its perfect! This bed is sturdy, strong, comfortable boards and no metal across just boards exactly what I wanted! Not one problem since I got it had it 2 months. I do have carpet so I have had no shifting or moving issues. My 26 yr. Old daughter put it up for me less than an hour! So it is not hard to assemble. If you're debating the size, it's a nice Full size, true to mattress size. Get it!
