Just got this . I like it a lot, so far. When I first put it together I was charging the battery so, I decided to take it for a spin without the battery. This gear setup is great! It shifts so easily and rides great even with these super wide tires. The brakes are wonderful. I have never had a geared bicycle with disc brakes.
The battery finally showed full charge on the bike but , the red light didnt change to green on the charger. That concerns me some. We will see if that ends up being a problem. I connected it to the bike and took off on a ride. The 3 assist modes are great and are easy to change during your ride. This bike is surprisingly fast. I am 240 and was flying at 21 mph on a flat road.
I am 62 years old and have not had this much fun on a bike since I was in elementary school.
I will update the review. This was only the first day.
Update. Ive had the bike for about a month. I still love it. It has so many things I just keep finding out about it. Like, brake lights! I dont remember reading in the description about them but, the tail light doubles for one, even when the main light switch is off. I have done about 100 miles and no problems. The charger light now turns green when charged. I mostly use only the 1 assist mode.
2 and 3 help a lot for hills but, you look kind of funny trying to pedal at those two levels. I use them for just fun not for exercise.
