For the money, this bench was easy to put together and has a nice appearance. However, it arrived damaged. The packaging was in pristine condition, so the bench was obviously damaged prior to being shipped. The wood on one of the sides is significantly split. I had already unpacked it completely and had started assembling the legs before I realized it.
