I bought this mattress specifically because it was listed as a 12 mattress which was surprisingly tough to find in a King size. Unfortunately, it has not fluffed up past 8.5. It will work for my purposes but I PAID for 12.....the price difference between an 8/10 and a 12 can be $100+ so this actually matters quite a bit. We are on day 5 of it sitting in an empty room on an empty bed so I think thats as far as its going to fluff. That being said, initially I was terrified bc the bed felt like a pile of marshmallows but it actually firmed up much to my surprise. All in all, this is definitely the strangest foam mattress Ive purchased - 14 years and several mattresses later, Ive never experienced the weird acclimation that this mattress went through. From it being completely deformed to it not fluffing to its intended size, its been super strange. I did not have these issues with my Basics mattresses (which have worked out super well for us). This is for a guest bedroom so I am not too concerned with how it will hold up over time since it wont be slept on a lot. To the seller: please adjust your description. Its clear that this is not a 12 since so many people have indicated it doesnt go past 8-10. Im giving it 3 stars bc it ended up working out for us but Im knocking off 2 stars bc it is priced as a 12 mattress and you dont actually get that.
