My love this bed. We put a queen size mattress underneath and its tight lengthwise, but I actually like that so it doesnt slide around. I built it myself without much trouble. We put a body pillow under the bottom of the slide because the bedroom has a wood floor and the slide is pretty fast! Really, really easy to put together.
