We ordered the Golden Black stand. The photos make the black portion appear more grey. I can assure you the bottom section is very black, not gray-ish in any way. 20 Step instructions, but multiple steps in each one. You have to look at the pictures multiple times to make sure you have the holes in the right direction.
Took about an hour to build. Holds our 65 TV with no issues. Gaming systems rest on the glass shelves with ease. Looks great in our family room. No issues with the colored lights. They work each and every time we fire up the TV.
