Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. Solid when assembled. Take note that upper twin mattress should not be higher than 8 to 8/1/2 as rails are about 13 high. Otherwise mattress will be taller than the safety rails. We were also able to fit a twin trundle bed under the lower bed allowing for 4 guests to sleep comfortably in one room.
