The zippers are fine you just need to take your time as these are fur pillows and the fur does get caught in the zipper. As long as youre not jerking and tugging at it the zippers wont break. I took the advice of another reviewer who said to order 20x20 pillow inserts and it made them so full and fluffy looking. I love them and havent had a problem with shedding at all.
