Does the job. The item itself is beautiful and the fabric is very soft, like a plush velvet which I enjoy. The cushions, on the other hand are VERY firm and the couch is pretty uncomfortable to sit on. Laying on it is decent if you are short. Friends have told me it is good to sleep on when laid back. My biggest issue is that it leaves very little room to actaully put your buns and thighs when sitting, as it is a very shallow couch. The assembly was VERY easy though and my dog seems to like it lots. All in all, its a decent buy when you have a tight budget.
