Incredibly sturdy. Took me and my hand about 3 to 3.5 hours to put it together (we mixed things up a couple times and had to go back to redo them) but over all it was very easy to put together! These are FULL sized bunks so make sure to measure the space. Hopefully now we dont have to buy the boys beds ever again! Good deal and was easy to put together.
