Good value, but top bunk is somewhat flexible

You get what you pay for, but its a good value. The tubing used is pretty thin, but its sufficient for children. Provided instructions are well written and easy to follow. It will probably take most people a couple of hours to assemble and there are a lot of pieces, so its labor intensive. The top bunk is rated for 200lbs and the bottom for 450lbs. If you weigh anywhere near 200lbs and you climb to the top bunk, youll realize how flexible that tubing is. It will sway with any significant weight on top, but not dangerously so. In general, if you have adults that need to use this, keep them on the bottom bunk. One thing that would make the top bunk feel more stable is a diagonal brace on the back side. This is probably something that could be added without compromising the structural integrity of the bed, if one was so inclined. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this product to anyone using it for children that weigh 150lbs each or less. It would also be a great option for a guest room if you have adults and children coming to stay occasionally.
