The ottoman looks great, is heavy with a substantial metal support structure but.1) There is no locking mechanism on the metal u shaped bars that supports the front and rear thirds of the bed so any movement can cause either end of the bed to collapse down to the floor. It happened the first time laying on it. The middle third of the unit has solid support. I have been unable to find the right size hinge or anything to prevent the ocasional end support bars from collapsing. 2) the ottoman metal square supports (legs) have the tiniest plastic floor protectors and 2 were missing causing horrible floor scratches. Have to contact company as the round plastic attaches and are not a standard item you can buy. 3) one metal support must be a bit longer or uneven because even with the plastic floor protector in place it made a horrible scratch moving the ottoman. The ottoman is heavy enough that it did not move from sitting on it, the problem was when closing the bed and moving unit back into position for non use. The ottoman looks good, it is firm for sleeping, I slept on it for a week and was comfortable. But the floor scratches (almost gouges in the wood) are intolerable and must be resolved before using the ottoman again as well as having to repair my floor. It is the best sleeper I found and it is a shame that it has these tiny flaws.
Just as described but a couple of issues
