For the price this bed is a good value. My husband assembled it by himself in a few hours, the directions are easy enough to follow. We were able to fit a 5inch mattress with sheets in the trundle, but it is a tight fit. Extra bedding has to be stored elsewhere.
This is primarily our toddlers bed but after having my older parents visit and sleep on it, I am quite happy with the purchase. The frame held together well for their stay. I was worried it may need reinforcements for adults to sleep on the extended frame but it was fine as is. I would purchase this again if we needed another bed for a guest space. Good product and definitely a value of a purchase.
