When the bed initially came, it was missing all of the hardware (screws etc.) and a few of the critical wood pieces. Customer service for the manufacturer / vendor did what they could to rectify the issue, though it took about four weeks all/told for all of the parts to arrive. When assembled the bed seems sturdy and well/designed, and my kid is happy. I was actually pretty disappointed.
