Fairly easy if you actually pay attention to the instructions we had to flip 2 bars around because we put them on backwards not realizing it. Also one of the O bars had grease all on it right out of the box. Otherwise it has taken my husband and I a good 3 hours minus a 10 minute break. Cant wait to surprise my kids with their new bed and bedding my kids are 6 1/2 and 4 1/2 and been at poppops for a month now! So excited to see the look on their faces. i am enjoying it
