Super easy to assemble. The whole couch goes together with metal brackets. The box is huge and is heavy but i was able to get it in on my own. The fabric is super soft almost comparable to velvet. Its not a couch your gonna sink into. Its pretty stiff. For the price it is totally worth it. ok value for the money
