This couch is relatively easy to assemble, and while it was easier to slide the large pieces together with my husband, it was still doable by myself. It starts off a little stiff, but as you sit on it the cushions relax a little bit and become more comfy. I searched for a long time for a nice couch in our low budget and Im really glad we got this one. Exceeded my expectations
