This bed, dispite all its pieces, was easy to put together. The instruction were in pictures but clear. It took us about 5 hours to assemble it. It will need 2 people to put together this bed. This is an awesome, sturdy piece of furniture for a girls room. This bed looked like it was missing part of the roof. I contacted the manufacturer and they said the roof is only on one side. Considering returning
