Nice bed frame, but whoever designed it needs to go back to school.the instructions have you assemble the entire frame then drop in the 10 support cross members unfortunately the cross members are all a minimum of ½ inch too longin the fine print at the end of the instructions they tell you you may have to loosen bolts in section 1, 2 and 3 (total of 16 nuts and bolts) to get the cross members in placeYou WILL need to keep all the bolts loose, remove the end caps on 2 cross members (second ones from each end) and not install or do as I did and cut two of the metal cross members at the foot and head of the frame to get them to fit at the ends.
Im mechanically inclined so it was just a pain in the neck to go back and loosen all the bolts AND cut 2 cross members AND remove the plastic end caps 2 others.
If you arent good with tools, you can do without the far end supports and NOT tighten the nuts and bolts until you jam the support members init is slightly less than square as the sides bow out a ½ inch or more, but itll work. I was actually pretty disappointed.
