This is absolutely perfect for my very girly 5 year old who had outgrown her toddler bed, but was also a bit scared of the space underneath a bed (who isnt, right!). With a light/up canopy on top, this is a truly magical and calming place for her to wind down and sleep soundly. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward (on par with assembling a toddler bed) and instructions were easy to follow. I was a bit surprised about the 99 shipping, but oh well / overall, still a good deal. Bed is sturdy and well made, and should last for years. My daughter is so happy with her big kid bed, and we are so happy we bought this one! Im satisfied with my purchase.
