I LOVE this little table. It came 2 days earlier than originally estimated. It was very well packed, heavier and sturdier than I expected for the price. All pieces were in great condition, with the exception of 2 of the shelf pegs which had the paint chipped off. But that didnt matter because those insert in holes on the bottoms of the shelves and arent seen. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together. The keys are:
1. Be sure you put the lettered leg in the matching lettered corner for the shelf pegs to be in the right place. Ask me how I know. The instructions dont specifically state this.
2. Pull the drawer out a bit to have room to get your hand and the allen wrench in to screw in the bolts.
3. Dont tighten down the bolts until youve gotten the shelves in place so you have wiggle room to get the shelves inside the legs. I also used a rubber hammer to lightly tap the shelves onto the pegs.
The description states its white, but its more of an ivory with aging on the edges and a driftwood/style top.
The drawer appears larger in photos than it really is. The face of it is over 26 inches wide, but the actual drawer is just a bit over 21 inches wide. This is sort of seen in one of the pictures has of the product, but not easily noticed. Just be aware the drawer is smaller than it appears in the photos.
The bottom shelf ever so slightly rocks on mine, even with the shelf seated firmly on the pegs. I tried swapping with the other shelf, but it was no different. I think one of the pegs was not level with the other ones. Not enough to have anything slide off, though.
Overall, Im very pleased with this purchase. It coordinates very well with the other farmhouse furniture in my bedroom.
Farmhouse Chic!
