Like others have said the branches are only have cover and the back half is bare wire. I laid cotton batting over the bare wire, luckily I already had some, and this made the tree look nice a full. But for the price a paid im very happy with this tree. The color was a wonderful bright clean white and looked aming. I had no trouble putting lights on it but I do recommend not fully assembling the tree before adding lights. I put the base and the bottom tree portion together then put lights on that section then connected the middle section of the tree and then added lights to the middle section then added the top of the ree and then lights. Doing like this made it so easy. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the individual branches cant support heavier ornaments, I could put them deeper in the tree or double/triple up the small branches but I few I struggled to find spot strong enough. Otherwise for the price this was a great tree and I would recommend buying it.
