This is beautiful! Everyone loves it! The mattress is thick, solid and covered with heavy duty tapestry fabric. The material frame is sturdy but does have to be assembled. It took me (5 tall elderly female) quite a bit of time to build from this kit. I had to call for back/up to lift the heavy mattress (this is the only heavy duty futon mattress Ive ever seen and is awesome) onto the frame. I am thrilled with this and am hoping to find seasonal slipcovers for it to change colors for the holidays.
