This is a wonderful piece of furniture. Yes it is real . You know, we have three of this type of ottoman now (not all the exact same model) and we just never run out of uses for them. One holds photos and mementos. One holds sweaters in the summer and shorts and t/shirts in the winter. And the third one is a home for stuffed animals and a window seat in the kids room. This ottoman is comfortable to sit on and holds a good amount of stuff. It looks very classy, too.
