We bought these for our office knowing they would rarely be sat in. The other reviews are right-- they are pretty hard and uncomfortable. I dont know that they could be broken in, either. But they serve our purpose well-- a nice chair with clean lines and a good price. Assembly was mostly easy and all the pieces and tools needed were in the box.
The only problem we had with assembly was getting the back of the seat snugly in place. Im still not entirely sure we have it correct. It took nearly 450 lbs of human to lean on it and try to force it into place.
