I looked at a ton of chairs trying to find a balance between looks and comfort. After reading hundreds of reviews, I settled on this one. Overall, Im happy with the purchase but theres a few cons to consider. Ill list my pros and cons to help others decide if this chair seems like a good fit for them.
Pros:
/ COMFORTABLE! I wfh (8/10 hour days) like many people right now and its comfortable enough that I forget Im sitting in it. A chair you dont think about is a good chair!
/ Im Short (411) and this chair has a wide range of heights it can be situated at. The highest point is quite high and the lowest my feet can reach the group comfortably. I keep it on a midway setting and use the wheels are footrests to be at the optimal height for my desk. An added bonus is I have a sit/stand desk so if I have the desk in the stand position and set the chair at its highest setting I can take the occasional sit rest and not have to adjust the desk. An unexpected pleasant feature!
/ Im fat (200lbs) and the size of the seat comfortably accommodates my ample bottom. I dont feel squeezed into it by any means. That said, someone who is heavy but isnt also petit might have issues with the width. The seat is probably wide enough for a skinny person to sit cross legged in.
/ it has nice lumbar support. I can lean back and feet supported.
Cons:
/ The biggest con for me is the lack of arm rests. I thought from the pictures that the sides would come up high enough to be arm rests like those on a chair but they do not. It was disappointing but I find Im comfortable resting my arms in my lap so it hasnt been bothering me much.
/ While it was quick to put together it was difficult since things dont line up especially well. It was a two person job while I compred the chair frame to get things to line up enough for my husband to screw the base of the chair together. The wheels also required a lot of force to get them on the stand. I suspect this may be why some peoples wheels broke. If you order this and youre a petite person you might consider calling a strong friend for help.
/ it advertises having a tilt function (unl Im not understanding what swivel tilt means) but its tilt is negligible. Its maybe enough to give you some mild flexibility when stretching but it isnt much, really.
For me the pros outweigh the cons considerably and Im very happy with the way it looks. I ordered the light gray and it matches my desk perfectly. Ill likely be moving into a small apartment soon and if my computer desk setup winds up in the living room I wouldnt be embarrassed having this chair in there.
