Packaged very well. Instructions were very easy to follow and all hardware was packaged together and was clearly identifiable. Each piece was identified with a removable stick-on label that came off easily. Material is solid pine (no pressboard here) with no imperfections with the stain and clear coat. The only tool, I needed to provide, was a Philips screwdriver, everything else was included in the box. It took me approximately 45 minutes to put this together.
