I bought two of these for my vacation home in Florida. We needed to make sure we could fit a trundle underneath. Everything fits perfectly. These were fairly easy to put together. The small wood slats need an additional person to assist you holding top and bottom together but I put two beds together in an hour. Very straight forward instructions and once built seemed sturdy. My 200 lbs husband laid down on one and it wasn't wiggly at all.
