Sturdy, solid upholstered bed frame with clean lines, small wingback
This bed frame is really nice. I love it! I did a lot of research before purchasing, read SO MANY of the reviews from a few different sources.
It was as expected, which is great! Solid bed frame, even for my heavy queen size Avocado hybrid mattress, no squeaking. Easy and straight/forward to assemble by two people; that ratchet was handy.
When it was delivered the box was very heavy. Im a petite girl and no one else was home when it was delivered so I struggled to push the box just inside the front door. It was well packaged, the box had damage to it but the bed frame remained intact. Everything was smartly packed inside the headboard, opens with a zipper. I was browsing for upholstered bed frames around October 2020 but wasnt ready to purchase until early January 2021 and the price went up by like 40! which made this bed frame over my original budget. But I still got it because of all the effort that I put into choosing this one and, although I had a second choice on my list, I already checked out the specs/the measurements to make sure this bed frame works with the mattress I already ordered and with the bedroom space.
The legs arent particularly nice/looking, made of black plastic with like a matte(?) texture, but its tapered, the shape is fine, no one else is gonna look closely at the legs, and most importantly it feels solid. And I guess its a more convenient material than, say, wood which you wouldnt want to get wet. Careful with the wooden slats, you can easily get splinters / during initial assembly, and when tucking sheets like the fitted sheet back on after laundering.
Im very happy and satisfied with this purchase. I feel comfortable leaning back on the headboard. Its a sturdy upholstered bed frame, small wingback, with clean lines.
