We had to return the bed due to the overwhelming fumes that were emitting from it. It filled our entire two/story house on the night my husband put it together, and then for the next week we tried everything to get rid of it. The windows were open in my daughters room with multiple fans on full blast. We washed the bed and tried a few other tricks but to no avail. The chemical smell never lightened up. It gave my husband a headache while putting it together, and we certainly didnt feel comfortable letting her sleep on the bed. I contacted the company and they gave me a dumb, unhelpful automated response.
