These are made of solid wood, with a white wash finish. The fabric is comfortable and neutral so it fits with many decors. I could not believe the price when I purchased but after having them for a few weeks I am so very happy with them. Today I went to Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn to look at tables and I was surprised at the cost of chairs. When compared these chairs in those stores would easily go for $500 each. I just adore them.
