The chairs are very easy to assemble. They do kind of feel like they will come apart at some time because of the ease of assembly. But for now they seem solid. They look great and stylish, but there is absolutely no comfort in them. The low back does not allow you to lean back and the contours of the seat cushion feels awkward. Then the foot rest swivels with the seat so there is no way move the seat unless your feet are close to the ground or you use the counter to swivel.
If you want some stylish, chic looking stools these are your chairs. But if you want comfort, look for another style. I will be getting another set with a higher back. I should have read the information better before buying.
