I have had these barstools for 10 months now, so I wanted to review the positives and negatives:
Positives:
Stools look great in person
Good value for the price
Super easy to assemble
Very comfy seat
Adjusts to different heights
Fabric holds up really well
Negatives:
Over time, the black paint on the base flakes off and deposits what looks like fine black dust around the base, also leaving a lighter colored area where the paint flaked off. When you sit on the stool, the pieces of the base scrape against each other (see pic), and causes the paint flakes. The foot rest bar also leaves black deposits on my cleaning cloths, though it doesnt show any paint wear on the bar itself.
One of the foot rests on one chair broke after only 2 uses - it didnt come off, it is just crooked bc one side detatched (see pic)
Overall, I would still buy these again. I use them often, so my complaints, given the price point, are not deal breakers for me. The winning features are the comfort, the fabric holding up, and the overall still nice look, after 10 mos of daily use (see pic).
