We love the chairs themselves. They look cool and the seats are comfortable. But, we are looking for new bases for them. The bases are plastic, not metal. They are very light, which is good for moving them around, but also makes them unstable. We purchases these and another style for our bar. At first the patrons love them. Until they try to get into them. The lack of stability makes it difficult. Once you are in, it is fine. As long as you don't rock or move. We have had a few guests fall out of them, mostly when trying to get into them. So, for home use I would say ok. Not for guests of different sizes and ages though. If this company has replacement metal bases, it would be great to review the cost.
