The bed is remarkably solid once its all tightened up. I feel secure on it and Im 62 250lb as it doesnt creak and move around or sway. It was pretty straight forward and easy to install, took us about 75 minutes. Can be converted to 2 separate beds as well which is awesome. It doesnt take up a lot of space either. Id recommend this bunk to anyone, looks nice, affordable and solid.
