The chairs were not difficult to assemble. They are not good quality, the wood will split when securing screws. My husband had to use heavy duty and longer screws to secure the arm rests. It is not made to hold heavier people so that will necessitate us purchasing heavier duty, higher quality Adirondack chairs in addition to these 4 we purchased. I am pretty disappointed but you get what you pay for.
If I want to return these chairs, I have to pay postage.
