I bought two of these chairs and returned them two days later because theyre simply not comfortable. The angle of the chair back is too steep, causing you either to be uncomfortable or to slide down the chair to achieve an equilibrium of pressure between seat and back, but neither worked. I even added a pillow in the lower lumbar region and theres just too much space for that to work. Very sad about this, and not sure why the other reviews are so glowing. Im 6, but my 56 fiance, 58 friend and 510 brother all had same reaction. Height doesnt matter. I was accustomed to those ubiquitous 20 plastic adirondack chairs, which I own and found reasonably comfortable, and figured these would be much better. Wrong. The 20 plastic ones are much more comfortable, probably because they are more ergonomically shaped and have a better angle. (They wear out though, and are generally cheap looking, but at least theyre comfortable.) These chairs were also a little less sturdy than expected, but its the folding feature that causes it. If these were comfortable and I was inclined to keep them, I would likely prefer the nonfolding type, as they should be more sturdy. Having said all that, the material is sturdy and nice looking, but the separate ottomans did not match up on height with the end of the seat. The ottomans were comfortable, but looked off because of the difference. The return was free, thankfully. And now I refuse to buy chairs online.
