I have to agree with all the strong reviews. The packaging was excellent. The styrofoam was wrapped in plastic, a great idea. The directions were quite clear. It took me about 90 minutes to put it together, but I took my time and made certain that I was following both the instructions and the separate detailed design that was a great aid. Everything about the construction exceeded my expectations. I encountered only one issue with one of the bolts that didnt want to screw into the lock piece of the headboard. However, because includes spare parts, I pulled out the two elements from the spare pack and they worked perfectly. To illustrate the cleverness and quality of the design, the wooden slats are held together in two sections of five each and unfold as a unit. As they unfold, there is a velcro strip on the slats which connects to a velcro strip on the sideboards, making everything fit into place instantly. Its been a long time since Ive put together something as well designed and made as this bed frame, not to mention something that had clear and detailed instructions. This was a great choice for us.
