I'll start off with 4 stars only because I haven't slept on it yet.
The instructions are phenomenal! I have never seen something with such good detail. The small parts are all on a card and labeled really well so you know exactly what screw goes to what piece.
The construction of the headboard and footboard are really nice. They feel good to the touch and it is nice and thick and looks very expensive.
The drawers were a bit of a disappointment as they are a heavy plastic film. I was thinking they would be mdf boards or metal. They have a weight limit of 40 pounds so although functional they will not hold what I had planned to store in them. Another reason for the 4 stars. I would have opted for the less expensive version that had the metal crate type of interior parts if I had known.
Now on to the construction. It says it takes 2 people to assemble and takes 2 hours. It did take 2 hours but I did put some parts together wrong - totally my fault for not paying more attention because the instructions were very clear. But I was able to put it together by myself.
I hope it will be comfortable and not move around when bumped, and I hope I don't see the issue with the legs breaking in the middle like some of the reviews I have seen. We will see.
