I bought two of these to sit at adjacent desks for my partner and I. We are always at our desks so they got fairly even use. One of these chairs snapped at a welding point on the left where the wire that holds the backing shape meets the base of the chair within a month of use. The other side quickly followed leaving the back sagging only held in place by the fabric of the backing. I am a bigger woman so we decided to see how long it took the other to break to see if it was a fluke or if it was a user problem. It took another year and a half for the second chair to also break in the exact same places albeit with much more careful use.
The cushion you sit on flattens and gets hard very quickly so a seat pillow is recommended.
They are beautiful chairs but they are delicate and will wear down quickly from daily use. You are definitely buying looks not longevity here. I am likely to buy another though as I simply cant get over how adorable they are and how nice it is to sit cross legged in the seat.
